What are the uses of Amroid Tablet?

Aimil Amroid Tablet is an Ayurvedic medicine made to bring bleeding and non-bleeding piles under control. Pain and burning while passing stool, blood with the stool, swollen piles and a stomach that won't clear properly. It helps with all of these. Mahaneem leaves and triphala make up the biggest share. Jimikand and nagkesar are added too. Taken regularly, the stomach starts clearing every day while the swelling and pain ease.

• Its herbs are boiled in water and the extract is dried before the tablets are made. That is how each small tablet holds the extract of over 3.5 grams of raw herbs.
• Benefits: It helps the stomach as well. Gas and a heavy feeling after meals get better, and hunger comes back.
• Indications: Given for anal fissure, which is a small, painful cut at the opening of the anus. It is also taken for constipation that has gone on for months, even when there are no piles.
• Dosage: Adults take 2 tablets twice a day, swallowed with a glass of lukewarm water.
• Side Effects: Stools may become loose and come more often in the first few days. Taking more than 2 tablets at a time can bring on loose motions and stomach cramps. There is also a small amount of cleaned bhilawa in it. A person allergic to bhilawa can get a rash or itching, and should stop the tablets if that happens.
• Abhayarishta is often taken along with it when hard stools keep coming back. It helps the stool pass easily every morning without any pushing.
• Don't sit on the toilet for long, and leave the phone outside. Sitting there and pushing puts extra pressure on the piles.

Amroid Tablet Ingredients

Each coated tablet of about 550 mg is made from water extracts of the herbs below. The figure next to each one is the amount of raw herb used to make the extract:

• Mahaneem (bakayan tree leaves): 400 mg
• Triphala (harad, baheda and amla in equal parts): 400 mg
• Haritaki (harad fruit): 300 mg
• Inderjav (seeds of the kutaj tree): 300 mg
• Neem (leaves): 200 mg
• Pippali (long pepper): 200 mg
• Priyangu (flowers of a small shrub): 200 mg
• Nagkesar (dried flower stamens): 200 mg
• Amla (Indian gooseberry): 200 mg
• Nisoth (root of a climbing plant): 200 mg
• Zamikanda (jimikand, elephant foot yam): 200 mg
• Saunf (fennel seeds): 150 mg
• Amaltas (pulp of the amaltas pod): 100 mg
• Kutaki (root of a bitter Himalayan herb): 100 mg
• Durva (doob grass root): 100 mg
• Chirbilv (Indian elm fruit): 100 mg
• Ashwagandha (root): 100 mg
• Chitrak (root): 100 mg
• Sunthi (dry ginger): 50 mg
• Vidanga (vaividang berries): 50 mg

Added to these in each tablet:

• Narikel Massi (coconut, prepared as ash): 20 mg
• Sphatika Bhasma (alum ash): 20 mg
• Kaharava Pishti (amber, ground very fine): 20 mg
• Mochras (gum of the semal tree): 20 mg
• Raal (resin of the sal tree): 20 mg
• Rasaunt (daruhaldi extract): 20 mg
• Khun Kharaba (red resin from a climbing palm): 15 mg
• Shudh Bhilawa (cleaned marking nut): 10 mg
• Sudh Shilajeet (purified shilajit): 10 mg
• Kukkutand Twak Bhasma (hen's egg shell ash): 10 mg
• Hirabol (myrrh resin): 10 mg

The whole mix is then processed in a brew of zamikanda, durva, kukundar leaves, katera gum, karanja seeds, chirbilv, lodhra bark, ashwagandha, triphala and aloe vera. A binding base and two preservatives, sodium methylparaben and sodium propylparaben, make up what is left of the tablet.

• Nisoth, amaltas and haritaki loosen the bowels.
• Bleeding slows down with nagkesar, mochras, khun kharaba, kaharava pishti and sphatika bhasma.
• Jimikand, bhilawa and chitrak help the swollen piles shrink.
