What are the uses of Jufex Forte Syrup?

Aimil Jufex Forte Syrup is an Ayurvedic syrup made to control a tough cough and sore throat. It helps with night-time coughing, a scratchy throat and phlegm in the chest. Kantakari, a thorny plant, goes in the largest amount. Mulethi, dry ginger and ginger juice are added too. With regular use, the cough settles and the throat calms. • Many cough syrups make you drowsy, but syrup Jufex Forte doesn't, and it isn't habit forming either. You can take a dose and still go to work or school.
• Benefits: Helps when a sore throat keeps coming back every few weeks. Taken for some weeks, it makes the chest and throat stronger.
• Indications: Given for the cough that comes with long-lasting swelling in the air pipes of the lungs. Also for a hoarse voice and for chest infections in children.
• Dosage: 2 teaspoonfuls, about 10 ml, three times a day for adults. Children take 1 teaspoonful, about 5 ml, three times a day. Have it with lukewarm water.
• Side Effects: No harmful effects are known at the normal dose, and it doesn't upset the stomach. It has more than 40 ingredients, though, so a rare allergy to one of them is possible. Stop it if a rash or itching starts.

• Yashtimadhu (mulethi root): 400 mg
• Vasa (adusa leaf): 400 mg
• Tulsi (holy basil leaf): 400 mg
• Unnab (jujube fruit): 300 mg
• Apamarga (chirchita, whole plant): 300 mg
• Haritaki (harad): 300 mg
• Jufa (hyssop plant): 300 mg
• Kakrasinghi (horn-shaped growth on the kakar tree): 300 mg
• Gul Banafsha (sweet violet flower): 300 mg
• Baheda (bahera fruit): 300 mg
• Kulanjan (greater galangal root): 300 mg
• Hansraj (maidenhair fern): 200 mg
• Sheetal Chini (kabab chini): 200 mg
• Pippali (long pepper): 200 mg

• Naushadar Sudh (cleaned ammonium chloride): 50 mg
• Sudh Suhaga (cleaned borax): 50 mg
• Karpura (camphor): 2 mg
• Pudina Satv (menthol from mint): 2 mg
• Tulsi oil: 0.0025 ml
• Ardraka (fresh ginger) juice: 200 mg
• Madhu (honey): as needed

The rest is the syrup base, with a sweet orange flavour, colour and preservatives.
