What are the uses of Neeri KFT Syrup?

Aimil Neeri KFT Sugar Free Syrup is an Ayurvedic medicine made to improve weak kidney function and protect the kidneys from more damage. It helps when blood tests show high creatinine and urea, and when the feet and face stay swollen. Punarnava and lotus flower are its two main herbs. Kasni and giloy come next. Regular use slowly lowers high creatinine, and the swelling gets less.

• To make syrup Neeri KFT, the herbs are boiled in water, and this herb water is turned into a syrup. Fresh fruit and vegetable juices go in too.
• Benefits: It protects healthy kidneys too. People who need strong medicines for a long time, ones that can harm the kidneys, use it for this.
• Indications: Used in long-term kidney disease (CKD) and in nephrotic syndrome, where a lot of protein leaks out in the urine. It is given for kidney infections as well.
• Dosage: 3 teaspoonfuls three times a day for adults. Children of 3 to 6 years get half a teaspoon twice a day, and children of 7 to 12 get 1 teaspoon twice a day. One teaspoonful is about 5 ml.
• Side Effects: At the normal dose, problems are rare. It does have tartrazine, a yellow food colour, and some people are allergic to that. Stop it if a rash or itching starts.
• For kidney trouble that has gone on for years, Dhootapapeshwar Sarvatobhadraa Vati can be taken along with it. This tablet is made with gold and other mineral ashes, and it is meant for kidney and bladder problems.
• Cut down on salt while you're on it. Too much salt makes the body hold on to water, and the swelling gets worse.
