What are the uses of Neeri Tablet?

Aimil Neeri Tablet is an Ayurvedic medicine made to bring burning urine and repeated urine infections under control. It helps when you need to pass urine again and again but only a little comes out, and when the feet or face swell. Pashanbhed goes in more than any other herb. Punernava and palash flowers come next. Taking it calms the burning and lets urine pass freely.

• Before the tablets are made, the dry herbs are ground in a kadha of six plants. Kulthi dal and aak root are found only in the kadha, while the other four are in the dry mix too, so they go in twice.
• Benefits: Helps the bladder empty fully. The feeling that some urine is still left inside gets less. So do the few drops that leak out after you've finished.
• Indications: Given for pain or difficulty in passing urine. Also given for kidneys that are not working as well as they should.
• Dosage: Adults take 2 to 3 tablets three times a day. For children it is 1 to 2 tablets twice a day. Swallow them whole with water.
• Side Effects: Most people take it at the normal dose without any trouble. Shweta Parpati and Yavakshar are strong khar salts, though, and going over the dose can upset the stomach.
• When the burning is bad, Chandanasava is often taken with it. It is a sandalwood tonic given for burning urine and too much body heat.
• Drink plenty of water through the day. And don't hold urine for hours. Go as soon as you feel the need.

Neeri Tablet Ingredients

Each tablet weighs about 630 mg and has 350 mg of active ingredients:

• Pashanbhed (root of a plant that grows in rock cracks): 60 mg
• Punernava (root of a small creeping weed): 50 mg
• Palash (tesu flowers): 50 mg
• Hajrul Yahood Bhasam (ash of ber pathar, a fossil stone): 45 mg
• Shweta Parpati (white flakes made from shora and phitkari): 25 mg
• Sahdevi (a small weed with purple flowers): 20 mg
• Appamarga (latjeera plant): 20 mg
• Gokhru (spiky fruit of a ground creeper): 20 mg
• Lajaloo (chhui-mui plant): 15 mg
• Sudh Shilajeet (cleaned shilajit): 15 mg
• Yavakshar (salt made from burnt barley plants): 10 mg
• Varun (dried water extract of the tree's bark): 20 mg

The remaining weight is the base that holds the tablet together, a thin yellow coating and two common preservatives.

How These Ingredients Help Your Kidneys and Bladder

• Pashanbhed, Hajrul Yahood Bhasam and Appamarga work on stones. They break up the tiny crystals in urine before those can join and grow.
• Shweta Parpati and Yavakshar make the urine less acidic. Less acidic urine burns less when you pass it.
• Palash flowers fight the germs behind the infection, with help from Sahdevi and Lajaloo.
• More urine flow comes from Punernava, Gokhru and Varun. The extra flow washes out germs, and also the water held in the body that causes swelling.
