Product description

What are the uses of Purodil Syrup?

Aimil Purodil Syrup is an Ayurvedic medicine made to bring acne and pimples under control. It helps when pimples keep coming up on the face or boils full of pus appear. Itchy red rashes on the body, known as hives, get better too. Sariva, also called anantmool, comes first among its herbs. Giloy and manjith come next. Over time, the pimples dry up and fewer new ones come.

Quick Facts

  • The bottle should not go in the fridge. A cool, dry shelf away from direct sunlight is fine.
  • Benefits: Helps when pimples get worse with stress, like before exams or in a busy week at work. The skin also starts looking clearer and brighter.
  • Indications: Given for skin allergies and skin infections. People also take the herbal syrup Purodil when the skin turns red and swollen.
  • Dosage: Adults take 2 to 3 teaspoonfuls, which is 10 to 15 ml, two or three times a day. For children it is 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls (5 to 10 ml) twice a day.
  • Side Effects: At the normal dose, most people have no trouble with it. Some get a mild stomach upset or softer stools in the first few days. It also has a yellow food colour called tartrazine. If coloured sweets give you a rash, this syrup may too.
  • Along with the syrup, AVP Kumkumadi Tailam can be put on the face at night. Start it once the pimples have dried, to lighten the marks they leave.
  • Try not to squeeze or pick at the pimples. That pushes the pus deeper and they take longer to heal.

How These Ingredients Help Your Skin

  • Sariva, Manjith, Chopchini and Ushwa clean the blood. In Ayurveda, dirty blood is seen as the main cause of pimples and boils.
  • Pus forms when germs get into a pimple. Neem, Haridra and Kalmegh kill those germs.
  • Allergy rashes and itching calm down with Shirish and Yashtimadhu.
  • Chirayata, Kutaki, Daruharidra and Pitpapda are bitter herbs. They cool pitta, the body heat behind hot, painful pimples. Kumari and Gulab Arka help with this too.
  • Constipation often makes pimples worse. Nisoth, Amaltas and Harad keep the bowels moving.

Khadir, Bakuchi and Chaul Mogra help with rough and patchy skin.
