What are the uses of Arthrojith Plus Tablet?

AVP Arthrojith Plus Tablet is an Ayurvedic medicine made to bring arthritis and joint pain under control. It helps when the joints feel stiff after waking up, the knees stay swollen, or climbing stairs hurts. Of its nine herbs, guggulu, gokhru and nirgundi go in larger amounts than the other six. Rasna, castor root and sonth are added too. With regular use, the pain and swelling slowly come down.

Each tablet is made from extracts of these nine herbs:

• Devadaru (deodar wood): 67 mg
• Sunti (sonth, dry ginger): 67 mg
• Rasna (root of a plant from the ginger family): 67 mg
• Amrutha (giloy stem): 67 mg
• Eranda (castor plant root): 67 mg
• Kokilaksha (talmakhana, whole plant): 67 mg
• Guggulu (gum from the bark of the guggulu tree): 100 mg
• Gokshura (gokhru fruit): 100 mg
• Nirgundi (root of the sambhalu shrub): 100 mg

A small amount of binding base holds it all together as a tablet.

• Guggulu and nirgundi cut down the swelling. They also ease the pain.

Many people think AVP Arthrojith Plus Tablet is just a stronger form of AVP Arthrojith Capsules. It is not. The two have different herbs and do slightly different jobs.

Arthrojith Plus Tablet works on joint pain and stiffness. Arthrojith Capsules work mainly on joint pain and swelling. Guggulu and gokhru are the only two herbs found in both.

Which one should you choose?

• Choose Arthrojith Plus Tablet if your joints feel locked after sleep or after sitting for long, or the ache gets worse in winter.
• Choose Arthrojith Capsules if one knee or ankle looks bigger than the other because of swelling, or you also get constipated often. The triphala in them keeps the motions regular.
• Taking the capsules for a few months and still stiff in the mornings? You can try Plus instead.
• Don't take both together. That only doubles the two herbs they share.
