Mukta(Moti) Bhasma Ingredients:

Shuddha Mukta:

Shuddha Mukta, also known as Purified Pearl used as an main ingredient. The pearl is purified using a method called Shodhana. This involves heating the pearl and then putting it in a liquid. The pearl is then incinerated at a controlled heat with a herbal paste until it turns into a very fine white ash. This ash, called Bhasma, is easily absorbed by the body. The whole process is done to create Shuddha Mukta or Purified Pearl. The Purified Pearl is converted into -fine calcined ash. The process of making Shuddha Mukta involves steps to ensure its purity. The end result is a bio-absorbable ash called Bhasma from Purified Pearl.

Preparation Method (Shodhana and Marana):

Step 1 : Shodhana is the step where the pearl is made clean. We soak the pearl in herbs to get rid of anything that is not supposed to be there. This makes the pearl ready for Marana.

Step 2 : Now Marana is done. Pearl is taken and a special herb is put on it. Then make it dry and shape it into discs. These discs go into a pot made of earth called Sharava Samputa. Heat this pot in a way that we can control until the pearl turns into a white powder called Bhasma.

Step 3 : Some tests are done to check the quality of the Bhasma, called Bhasma Pariksha. Check if bhasma floats on water, i.e Varitara. Also check if it fills in the lines on the skin, i.e Rekhapurna. We make sure it is not shiny, i.e Nishchandra. These are the ways to test if the Bhasma is of good quality.
