What are the uses of Abhraloha Tablets?
Dhootapapeshwar Abhraloha is an Ayurvedic tonic made to fix low blood and the weakness that comes with it. It helps when a little work leaves you out of breath, your face looks pale and you feel dizzy while getting up. Loha bhasma, made from iron, is the main part. Abhraka bhasma and shatavari go in too. With regular use, hemoglobin slowly rises and the body gets its strength back.

- Ingredients: Amla, harad and baheda keep the stomach clean. Sonth, kali mirch, pippali and chitrak improve digestion, so the body can take in the iron. Vidang is added for stomach worms, a common hidden reason for low blood. And nagarmotha helps settle loose stools.
- It's not a chemical iron salt like most iron tablets. The iron here is Loha bhasma. Iron is heated and cooled again and again with herb juices until it becomes a fine ash. Mica goes through the same kind of work to become Abhraka bhasma. Both are mixed with the ground herbs, pressed into tablets and given a red coating.
- Benefits: Useful for women at every stage, from their first periods to menopause. Every month's bleeding takes iron out of the body, and this helps make up for it.
- Indications: Given for general weakness and tiredness, low blood left behind after jaundice, fever that has gone on for a long time, loose motions, weak digestion and liver trouble.
- Dosage: 1 to 2 tablets twice a day after food, with milk or lukewarm water.
- Side Effects: Nothing much is reported at the normal dose. Stools often turn dark or black while you're taking it. That comes from the iron and isn't a worry. A few people get mild constipation. Keep the pack away from small children, because too much iron is harmful for a child.
- When to see a doctor: Low hemoglobin can have many causes, such as heavy periods, bleeding piles, worms or poor food. Get a hemoglobin test (CBC) done before you start, and repeat it as your doctor advises. See a doctor if you have heavy periods, blood in the stool, or tiredness that keeps getting worse.
- Ashokarishta is often taken with it when heavy periods are the reason behind the low blood.
- Keep tea and coffee at least an hour away from each dose, because they stop the body from taking in iron.
