Product description

What are the uses of Balarishta?

Dhootapapeshwar Balarishta is an Ayurvedic tonic made to ease vata pain and bring back strength. It helps with aching knees and back, stiff hands and legs in the morning and tiredness after a little work. Bala is a small bush, also called kharenti. The whole plant is used, with an equal amount of ashwagandha root. With regular use, pain and stiffness go down and arms and legs get stronger.

Quick Facts:

  • Ingredients — Arandi root and rasna ease joint pain and swelling, while prasarini is there for stiff muscles. Gokharu adds strength. Khas keeps the body cool, and badi elaichi and laung help the stomach digest food.
  • It is an arishta. Only the two main herbs are boiled until a quarter of the water is left. The rest are stirred in later as powder. Dhai flowers in that mix start the fermentation. It goes on for about a month in a closed vessel, and a little alcohol forms naturally in that time.
  • Benefits — It also helps weak nerves. When an arm or leg becomes weak after a paralysis attack, it is given to help the muscles get their strength back.
  • Indications — Given for cough and difficulty in breathing, mostly in people who are also weak. It also helps when you don't feel hungry.
  • Dosage — 15 to 30 ml, that is 3 to 6 teaspoonfuls, twice a day. Mix it with the same amount of lukewarm water and take it after meals.
  • Side Effects — Most people have no trouble at the normal dose. Some feel a burning in the stomach if they take too much or take it before eating. It is usually not given during pregnancy.
  • When the joints have hurt for years, Baidyanath Swarna Maha Yograj Guggulu is often taken along with it.

Cold drinks and food straight from the fridge can make the pain worse, so skip them while on it. A short walk every day helps too. Sourced in its authentic form through BodyStop.
