कुटजरिष्ट के क्या उपयोग हैं?
धूतापापेश्वर कुटजरिष्ट एक आयुर्वेदिक टॉनिक है, जिसे बलगम और खून के साथ होने वाले दस्त को नियंत्रित करने के लिए बनाया गया है। यह पेट में मरोड़, बार-बार शौचालय जाने, मल में बलगम या खून आने और महीनों तक खराब रहने वाले पेट की समस्या में मदद करता है। यह मुख्य रूप से कुटज के पेड़ की छाल से बनाया जाता है। कुटज के बाद, मुनक्का का सबसे अधिक उपयोग किया जाता है। नियमित सेवन से मल धीरे-धीरे सख्त होता है और बलगम व खून कम हो जाते हैं।
मुख्य तथ्य:
- सामग्री — गम्भारी की छाल भोजन को ठीक से पचाने में मदद करती है और पेट के दर्द को कम करती है। महुआ के फूल उस ताकत को वापस लौटाते हैं, जो कई दिनों तक दस्त होने के बाद व्यक्ति खो देता है।
- यह एक अरिष्ट है। धैई को छोड़कर हर जड़ी-बूटी को पानी के एक बड़े बर्तन में तब तक उबाला जाता है, जब तक कि पानी का केवल एक चौथाई हिस्सा ही न रह जाए। इस तरल को छानकर ठंडा करने के बाद धैई के फूल डाले जाते हैं। वे किण्वन (fermentation) शुरू करते हैं, और दस्त व रक्तस्राव को रोकने में भी मदद करते हैं। बर्तन को एक महीने तक सील रखा जाता है, और किण्वन से इसमें थोड़ी मात्रा में प्राकृतिक अल्कोहल रह जाता है।
- लाभ — दस्त के साथ बुखार आने पर मदद करता है, जो अक्सर पेट के संक्रमण के कारण होता है। बीमारी के दौरान खत्म हुई भूख भी वापस आने लगती है।
- संकेत — मल में खून आने वाले पेचिश के लिए दिया जाता है। लंबे समय तक कमजोर रहने वाले पेट के लिए भी दिया जाता है, जिसमें भोजन आधा पचा हुआ बाहर निकल जाता है। यह आज जिसे आईबीएस (IBS) कहा जाता है, उसके समान है।
- खुराक — 10 से 20 मिली, यानी 2 से 4 चम्मच, दिन में दो बार। इसे पीने से पहले उसी मात्रा में गुनगुने पानी के साथ मिलाएं।
- दुष्प्रभाव — सामान्य खुराक पर कोई खास दुष्प्रभाव नहीं होता। इससे अधिक लेने पर कब्ज हो सकता है। कुछ लोगों को एक खुराक के बाद थोड़ा उल्टी जैसा महसूस होता है। गर्भवती महिलाओं को इससे दूर रहना चाहिए।
- जिन लोगों की पेट की समस्या महीनों तक चलती रहती है और उन्हें दुबला व कमजोर बना देती है, उन्हें अक्सर इसके साथ बैद्यनाथ स्वर्ण पर्पटी दी जाती है।
- दस्त के कारण शरीर से पानी तेजी से बाहर निकलता है। दिन भर ओआरएस, नारियल पानी या पतली छाछ की घूंट लेते रहें, और जब तक दस्त ठीक न हो जाएं, सादी खिचड़ी या दही-चावल ही खाएं।
